Cancellation Policy
If Covid-19 restrictions prevent a guest from travelling on their original booking Cumberland will amend the booking without penalty for travel within 12 months of the original date. Further extensions may be permitted if Covid-19 restrictions persist.
If Covid travel restrictions are not a factor the following cancellation conditions apply to accommodation-only bookings (please refer to section on right for details of package deal bookings): If cancellation occurs within 35 days of the start date of your accommodation or No Show or abandonment or any time after check-in: 100% Gross Tariff penalty applies (this means the full price of the accommodation-only package). No refunds will be applied within 35 days of the start date of the accommodation.
50% penalty per person will apply if cancellation occurs between 36 and 65 days of the accommodation start date.
A fee of $50.00 per person per amendment will apply to bookings.
A $100 cancellation fee per person will apply to all bookings.
1.5% credit card fee applies for all credit card transactions.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. We strongly suggest all travellers to Norfolk Island take out Travel Insurance to provide some protection against certain delays cancellations medical costs etc. Medical evacuations can cost $35 000 or more!!.
